2026 Intentions, Goals, & Reflection
In my last post, I shared why I’m choosing to step away from traditional New Year’s resolutions and instead focus on small, intentional goals and progress I can actually sustain. Today, I want to take that idea one step further and share what that looks like for our family as we head into 2026—the goals we’re setting, the rhythms we’re protecting, and the why behind each one.
Not as a checklist to conquer, but as a gentle vision for a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and lived on purpose.

✨ Reflection: The Why Behind the Goals
Why These Goals Matter in 2026
I’m not chasing a version of life that looks impressive—I’m choosing one that feels aligned.
This year, my goals aren’t about doing more. They’re about doing what matters, with intention and grace.
I want less clutter, not just in my home, but in my mind and schedule. Less stuff, more life isn’t about minimalism for the sake of it—it’s about making room for presence, connection, and peace.
Reading twenty-six books isn’t a number to hit; it’s an invitation to slow down, to learn, to escape when needed, and to remember that rest is productive too.
Our trips—both as a couple and as a family—aren’t about distance or expense. They’re about memories, laughter, and choosing each other in the middle of busy lives.
Financial goals aren’t rooted in restriction, but in freedom. Spending with intention allows me to say yes to what matters most and no to what doesn’t align.
Writing consistently is about using my voice—not perfectly, but honestly. It’s about showing up, sharing real life, and trusting that connection matters more than polish.
Meal planning, health, and the rhythms of our home are my way of caring for the people I love—including myself. These small, steady choices support the life I want to live, not just today, but long-term.
In 2026, I’m choosing progress over perfection, presence over pressure, and a life that feels as good as it looks.
🌻 If this resonates with you, I’d love to know—what’s one intention you’re carrying into this year? You don’t need a full plan or perfect words. Just one small, meaningful focus. Let us know in the comments! 💛
